Music Ministry

Senoia United Methodist Church

Chancel Choir
The church's Chancel Choir leads the congregation in worship each Sunday at the 11am worship service, providing quality choral music and varied musical meditations in coordination with the theme of worship.

If God gave you a talent to sing and you're not already in the Chancel Choir, now is the time to share your talent!  Practice is  at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.  It's really fun, and we can always use more voices. Please pray about this need, and volunteer your time.

SUMMER SEASON

During the months of June, July, and August the Chancel Choir will continue to provide worship music each Sunday....with a twist!  The choir will not be rehearsing on Wednesday evenings until August, but we will meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 in the choir room to rehearse music for 11:00 worship.  NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO JOIN US!!  If you would like to sing with us, all you have to do is be in the choir room at 10:30 AM.  The music will not be difficult, it will be mostly in unison or easily-read parts, and you don't have to read music to join us.  Come and sing with us just once, or come back two or three times during the summer, or every Sunday!  We promise not to assign you a permanent choir seat, folder, and robe unless you want one!  If you have questions or trepidation, speak with any choir member, or speak to Jim Preece.  This opportunity is available to those in middle school through age 153.  Come on....give it a try!

 Senoia Southern Bellz Handbell Choir

The handbell choir meets each Tuesday evening at 6:30. It helps if you can read music, however, if you can count up to four and know your left hand from your right, we can help you learn to play handbells!  We need both men and women.  Youth over the age of 14 are welcome too.

Please contact either Nancy Lewis or Lori Kolbenschlag for more information.
